Argon
Argon is two and a half times more soluble in water than Nitrogen and has an oxygen-like solubility. Argon is used in electric light bulbs and is also used as an inert protective gas for arc welding and cutting, as a protective gas for the production of Titanium and other reactive elements, and as a protective atmosphere for growing silicon and Germanium crystals.
In industry it is used in various fields such as:
1. Metallurgy, uses: continuous casting, welding foundry.
2. Medical, uses: laser and cryobiology.
3. Other, usability: o2 free pressure testing, pipe research, cleaning and more.
