Carbon dioxide (food grade)
Carbon dioxide is produced in industry using carbon dioxide sources obtained through various processes in the petrochemical industry, or by burning natural gas in the cogeneration process. This substance is delivered under pressure in a steel tube and cooled in a heat insulated container.
In the food industry it is used in various fields such as:
1. Food: carbonated drinks. Gasification drinks. Packaging, freezing and cooling.
2. Catering.
